PhD Life year 2, day 1

Started early and bright at 9:00 a.m., wrapped up just a few minutes after 4:00 p.m. It was a really good day with discussions and critical thinking.

Today was a good day where we constructively challenged the literature, and one another. We agreed and disagreed and it was fantastic because it was done with respect and towards several common goals. Among those, doing our part in creating academic environments that celebrate and uplift equitable access.

What a difference. A year in and we are recalling articles we read previously, research papers from individual assignments from the past year. Names of researchers are like household brands, each with a unique purpose to fulfill.
