This was a pretty cool week. Even though I was not able to attend the conferences I was hoping to attend in person, I did manage to join via webinar. I know it isn’t the same, but it is a great option. So here it is, the highlights of my week…

  1. REFORMA National Conference and 50th Celebration: Listening to incredible colleagues supporting and uplifting the work we do with and for Latino/a and Spanish-speaking patrons. #Adelante #SomosElCambio #WeAreTheChange
  2. ASHE National Conference: Reading the tweets and messages by colleagues attending the conference in #PuertoRico, and particularly the tweets from my #Indigenous colleagues in higher education. Inspirational and their work is changing the landscape for a better, decolonized education system.
  3. Shoe and boot prep for winter: Suede, smooth leather, nubuck, and waxed suede…all my boots and shoes are ready for winter weather; also got some footwear that is in sound shape ready for donation.
  4. Blood Orange Rooibos Tea: it has taken care of so many cravings this week.
